Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation is one of the most accredited non-academic research entities in the world and owns an immense documental heritage about historical, political, economic and social sciences.

Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation’s new project, on Viale Pasubio, Milan, was founded with the specific aim of becoming a hub and a platform of debate between different stakeholders – such as public and private institutions, universities and research centers, companies and associations – creating a national and international network, enabling critical thinking.

Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation was born to create a link between the possibilities of the future and the sources kept in its documental heritage, which holds the knowledge required to interpret the reality of today’s society, through an historical approach. It aims at sparking reflection around the topics that heat today’s discussions, with a combination of research results and resources coming from its documental heritage, in order to be able to take suggestions, images and words and shape them into the tools required to face the future.

The Foundation manages its activities in a distinctive and experimental way, mixing conservation, research, editorial and educational activities with a cross-medial approach and innovative formats: exhibitions, conferences, plays, film screenings and concerts.
